Dr. Jenava Carty MD

Dr. Jenava Carty is a specialty physician board certified in obstetrics and gynecology at Inova Health System. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Carty served as a physician in the US Army; site director for the obstetrics and gynecology residents from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center; and as assistant site director for family medicine resident’s gynecology rotation at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. Dr. Carty’s clinical areas of interest include contraception and family planning, abnormal uterine bleeding, pregnancy, cervical cancer screening (pap smear) and menopausal conditions. Dr. Carty’s goals are to partner with her patients and help them feel safe and comfortable during their visits.
