He obtained his Doctor of Medicine in 1995 from Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in Columbus, Ohio,  then performed a general surgery internship at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.In 2000, Dr. Ali completed his medical residency in otolaryngology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.Dr.
