Family physician Nicholas Tavani, MD, PhD, leads the team at Battlefield Family Medicine & Weight Management. Having served the local residents of Manassas, Virginia, for over two decades, Dr. Tavani and the team take a compassionate approach to care and promote healthy lifestyles to patients and their families.Dr. Tavani earned his Bachelor of Science at the Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, in 1974. Dr. Tavani recieved his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He then completed his internship in family medicine at Providence Hospital through Georgetown University, followed by his residency in family medicine at the University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly.
