Simone Van-Horne, MD is a board-certified internist. She received her training in the University of Pennsylvania Health System where she fostered her love of teaching and educating patients and those who take care of them. She was awarded the prestigious Dinon Teaching Award while there as evidence of this love of ensuring good healthcare is at the forefront of practice. After more than 20 years of practice, she has the 360-degree perspective of medicine. She has extensive experience in hospital medicine, post-acute care in rehabilitation, nursing home and memory care. She is integrated in the multidisciplinary team approach as a medical officer in psychiatric care.
