I was born to Caribbean parents in London, United Kingdom. I was trained to work clinically with people in trouble with the criminal justice system. I provided anger management, treatment for addiction, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I have been a social worker for over 25 years. My own journey led me to settle in the Hudson Valley where I have continued to help people in need as a social worker in child welfare, residential treatment, group and individual work with survivors of domestic violence, addiction, TBI, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and severe persistent mental illness. I am currently enrolled in the clinical fellowship program at Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy.
