Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery is a boutique private Obstetrics and Gynecology medical practice in Boca Raton, Florida.
Mira was founded in 2024 by two board-certified OB/GYN physicians, Dr. Konsker, and Dr. Woodbury, with the single goal of providing world-class, highly-experienced, personalized OB/GYN care to women of all ages in their community.
They chose the name ‘Mira’ for this vision because of its many-layered and poignant meanings. In the Romance languages, it means “wonder” and “to see.” In the Slavic languages, it means “peace.” In Sanskrit, it means “ocean” or “sea, ” and in Hebrew, it means “rising water.” It is the Latin origin of the word “miracle” and in Arabic can denote a “female ruler.
