LAUREN COLLUM

Lauren is a native of South Georgia and has been practicing step-down critical nursing for over 7 years. She is now transitioning into the nurse practitioner role after pursuing higher education.

Originally, Lauren graduated from Armstrong State University (now known as Georgia Southern University) with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she began working as a staff nurse at a local hospital in Savannah, GA where she continues her nursing career as a charge nurse. After a few years of staff nursing, Lauren decided to go back for graduate school at Georgia Southern University to complete the Master’s of Science in Nursing, with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner.
