JOHN NWOFIA

Dr. Nwofia embarked on his medical journey in the UK, with training in Orthopedic Surgery before transitioning to the US in 1994. His training included a Family Practice internship at Henry Ford Hospital and a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital/University of Chicago Hospitals, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Nwofia is a board-certified interventional physiatrist, focusing on non-surgical spinal and musculoskeletal disorders. His expertise extends to spinal cord injury and post-stroke management, as well as prosthetic rehabilitation and phantom limb management. Dr. Nwofia's multidisciplinary approach tailors care to individual needs, empowering patients to achieve optimal function.
