Inova Joint Replacement Center (located at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital) is the largest program of its kind in the mid-Atlantic region. It is nationally accredited and certified by The Joint Commission, earning a Gold Seal of Approval™ for outstanding care in joint replacement procedures. Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is one of only six programs in Virginia to earn the certification for hip and knee replacements, and has also been designated by UnitedHealthcare as a Center of Excellence for Joint Replacement.
