Dr. Wilmore earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Baylor University – Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Wilmore served as a pediatric intensive care unit (ICU) nurse for many years before pursuing her doctoral degree in dental science at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas.
