Fancy Pants Fine Children's Clothing and Gifts

We are absolutely delighted that you stopped by our little site! This whole thing started when two pregnant, crazy mommas met in 2013 at the birthday party of a mutual friend's kiddo. (After all, you moms of littles know that's our version of the club scene these days.) We discovered, much to our amusement, that we both shared the same name and were both pregnant with our third boy....bless our hearts! The similarities kept mounting up and our friendship grew over the next few months until we both delivered our precious sons...ON THE VERY SAME DAY!

The idea for our children's boutique was born about the same time as our babies. Texting during late night feedings and talking during play dates, we discovered our shared love for all things monogrammed, smocked and southern. A few months (and a lot of coffee and conversations) later, Fancy Pants Fine Children's Clothing and Gifts was opened in Lexington, South Carolina. Named after our boys, who we insist on dressing "fancy" despite their growing disagreement, Fancy Pants specializes in boutique clothing and accessories for boys and girls from birth to age 6. We are absolutely tickled to launch our very own website after a year in our brick and mortar location. We can't wait to take the best clothing and accessories for little belles and beaus outside of our walls in Lexington and into the great big 'ole world!

We carry brands like Zucchini, Banana Split, Three Sisters, Mud Pie, Ruffle Butts, Switch a Roo, Petit Ami and so many more! Because we are "doing" this age of littles right now...we only carry what we would put on our very own babies. We pay close attention to fabrics and stitching and durability and comfort, as well as style. And you won't find anything here over $60, because let's be real....we each have three kids who we love dearly, but we also love manicures and Starbucks and vacations to tropical islands and the idea of being able to retire one day instead of paying back loans on all the smocked clothing we bought for our children!
