Liz has 9 years of previous pediatric nursing experience, ranging from intensive care, to cardiac, to pediatric oncology/bone marrow transplant, to outpatient neurology and mental health. During her MSN coursework at Duke, Liz was one of the first students to take part in the Pediatric Mental and Behavioral Health Specialty program. She is incredibly passionate about Pediatric Mental Health and recognizes the need for the health care sector to recognize, diagnose and treat these conditions in our pediatric and adolescent patients, as so many times they slip through the cracks and are left untreated.
