As a therapist, I believe that I help people help themselves. I believe the answers are within an individual, couple or family, and my job is to ask questions that will help people hear those answers. Individuals are the experts of themselves and parents are the experts of their families. Therapy is a journey of discovery and healing. People have an amazing ability to heal, learn and grow. I believed that when I began doing therapy 27 years ago and I have that same strong belief today.
The children, individuals, couples and families I have worked with have been my best teachers and I learn and grow from every encounter. I also bring a strong systemic perspective to all of my work. No one is an island; we are all connected to others.
