Duke Children's Health Center Pediatric Surgery

Duke pediatric surgeons provide surgical consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits with children who may require or have undergone surgery for conditions that affect the neck, chest, and abdomen. This may include solid tumors, congenital malformations, congenital or inguinal hernias, chest wall defects, and thyroid nodules. We also perform minor procedures such as sutures, line and tube placements, drain removal, and implants.
