Dr. Leon Moores MD

Dr. Leon Moores is a board certified neurosurgeon at Inova Children’s Neurosurgery. He has spent much of his career serving in clinical leadership roles: Infantry Lieutenant at 82nd Airborne Division; Chief of Neurosurgery at Walter Reed; Chair, Dept of Surgery at Walter Reed; Deputy Commander for Integration at National Naval Medical Center; Commander of Fort Meade Medical Activity; and CEO of Pediatric Specialists of Virginia. He has deployed twice to combat zones to care for our service members.

Dr. Moores cares deeply about the children and adults he is privileged to care for, and he believes professionalism demands treating all people with dignity and respect.
