“My interest in medicine started early in high school. I felt that it was the noblest profession, allowing one to serve others with the highest degree of personal interaction with patients. I saw my first patient as a medical student. She had multiple chronic conditions and significant financial difficulties in getting her medication. We helped her obtain the medications she needed and she was so grateful that she wrote us a “Thank You” letter. For the first time, I came away feeling the immense pride and satisfaction of helping a patient through their medical and financial needs. I strive to assist and serve my patients as whole people.”
