Dr. Barbara M. Nies MD

Dr. Barbara Nies is a specialty care physician board certified in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Nies completed her specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT. She moved to the Washington area in 1988 for subspecialty training in maternal-fetal medicine at the George Washington University Medical Center and Fairfax Hospital. Dr. Nies is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the subspecialty board of maternal-fetal medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
