Sand Play Therapy provides a medium of creative expression and self-discovery through the use of symbolic images and creativity. Children feel safe and supported with this form of therapy because it is a developmentally appropriate form of expression that allows children to play and enjoy themselves while tapping into their healing potential. Teens and Adults also participate and benefit from creative expression because it allows individuals to tap into a deeper level of emotions and understanding that can not always happen with words.
