DMV Psychiatric Wellness

DMV Psychiatric Wellness is a patient-centered mental health practice in Washington, DC and Bowie, MD. Nurse practitioner and veteran Oko Akrong, PMHNP-BC, leads the practice and strives to provide his patients with exceptional and accessible mental health care. Due to his veteran status, he understands the widespread and often extreme effects of mental illness. 
Mr. Oko Akrong earned his nursing degree from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois, before completing a graduate degree in nursing administration from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. He then finished his psychiatric nurse practitioner degree from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts.
