Chess Max Academy

Welcome to Chess Max Academy. We are passionate about chess and teaching children how to play this challenging game. Chess Max Academy is located in a storefront on 1st Avenue in Manhattan. It’s a bright and beautiful space where kids as young as 3.5 years to 5 years of age, can learn how to play this fascinating game. Led by world champion chess grandmaster Maxim Dlugy, Chess Max Academy offers classes after school and on weekends. We are now offering an after-school program that includes the convenience of having Chess Max Academy pick up students at school and taking them to the Academy. Our extended hours make it easy for busy working parents to enroll their children in after-school programs that are both fun and educational. Chess Max Academy is pleased to present chess tournaments for all skill levels and all age groups. We host tournaments as a part of our drop-in program. Have your game reviewed by a coach as part of the event.
