Carter Hunter is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep commitment to supporting the emotional well-being of children, adolescents, and families. She founded Richmond Resilient Roots to provide thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care in a warm and collaborative setting. With experience in both primary care and psychiatry, Carter brings a whole-child approach to every evaluation and treatment plan—fostering resilience and empowering young people to thrive.
