Barbara Novak, MD

Dr. Barbara Novak is a Board Certified psychiatrist specializing in anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and various types of conflicts, offering individualized care to patients in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. She accepts patients of most ages, from “tweens” to older adults.  Her office is conveniently located in Bethesda, Maryland with easy access to Washington, D. C., northern Virginia and nearby communities in Maryland. Dr. Novak received her medical degree from the University of Virginia and then went on to complete her residency at the Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital.Dr. Novak uses her many years of experience to help each patient overcome his mental and emotional issues.
