Apex Endovascular: Shawn Ahmed, MD, PhD

Apex Endovascular is Northern Colorado’s first and only outpatient facility dedicated to minimally invasive image-guided therapies. Board-certified vascular specialist Shawn Ahmed, MD, PhD, offers comprehensive vascular interventional care, wound care, and vascular health support in the Fort Collins, Colorado, office.
Dr. Ahmed completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. He went on to earn a doctorate in bio-organic chemistry and a medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dr. Ahmed completed his internship at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, also in Minneapolis.
