Angela Shannon, MD

Dr. Angela Shannon is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist who has been in practice for over 12 years. A native of Smithville, MS, she graduated valedictorian of her high school class and went on to graduate cum laude from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. She trained at University of MS Medical Center in Jackson, MS during her pediatric residency and at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH for her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship. She has primarily practiced in the Jackson, Madison, and Flowood areas but also started a travel clinic in Tupelo in 2015. In January 2021, Dr. Shannon founded her own pediatric GI clinic- Happy Tummies- in Flowood, MS.
